Gabriel Logan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gabriel Logan (known to others as "Gabe") is an agent for a top-secret Government agency in the video games Syphon Filter, Syphon Filter 2, Syphon Filter 3, Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror. He served in the 75th Ranger Regiment for twelve years, and fought in Grenada. He met Lian Xing during a mission in Soviet-occupied Afghanistan. He served in the Persian Gulf War, hunting down SCUD missiles in the Iraqi desert. In 1993 he joined the Agency. As of Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain, Gabe is appointed Commander-In-Chief, and reforms the Agency, naming it the I.P.C.A. (International Presidential Consulting Agency).
Logan's personality is similar to Metal Gear Solid's Solid Snake. Both Snake and Logan are grim ex military soldiers with gruff voices and a no-nonsense way of thinking.
In the first three games, he was voiced by John Chacon. From the fourth game on, he is voiced by James Arnold Taylor. In the all the French versions, he is played by Stephane Cornicard.
