Gabriel Davioud

Gabriel Davioud (1823 - 1881) was a French architect. He was one of the collaborators of Baron Haussmann and built a number of buildings in Paris. Among his most notable works are the popular Saint-Michel Fountain, in Place Saint-Michel, the old Palais du Trocadéro (demolished in 1937), and the two theatres at the Place du Châtelet (Théâtre du Châtelet and Théâtre de la Ville).
