Gabo Island is a small island located off the coast of eastern Victoria, Australia, between Mallacoota and Cape Howe on the border with New South Wales.

It is well known for its historic lighthouse, made from red granite quarried from the island itself. It is home to the world's largest roost of little penguins, and is looked over by one lighthouse keeper. It is separated from the mainland by a one kilometre wide channel, and is only accessible by arranged flights and boats.
