[edit] Biography

Sapolsky was raised in Brookline, Massachusetts. He attended the Runkle elementary school and later Brookline High School, graduating in 1990. He received his B.A. in Communications degree from Temple University.

[edit] Extreme Championship Wrestling

Sapolsky began with ECW doing the programs for their live events in 1993, right before Eddie Gilbert departed from the company as booker. Sapolsky went on to do merchandise for Sabu and other ECW superstars, and even took over doing other major ECW duties, such as shipping merchandise, printing tickets and taking over the ECW hotline, among many other things. [1]

[edit] RF Video

Gabe Sapolsky was associated with RF Video throughout his tenure in ECW, helping with the RF Video booth and film ECW Fan Cams, although was never an official RF Video employee until 2001, after ECW closed. [2]

[edit] Ring Of Honor

In 2002, Sapolsky and his good friend Rob Feinstein opened Ring Of Honor, an independent wrestling promotion. Feinstein was officially the owner, while Sapolsky was given booking duties, probably due to his prior experience with Heyman, who is commonly regarded as a booking genius.

In March of 2004 Rob Feinstein publicly sold his share of Ring of Honor to Cary Silkin. Sapolsky is noted for being the main reason ROH has been as successful as it has.[citation needed]

Sapolsky has used several alter-ego's in Ring Of Honor, notably as announcer Jimmy Bower, who went under the name Chris Lovey until 2004 when he decided to go by his "real name".

[edit] Full Impact Pro

Sapolsky also books Full Impact Pro, another independent promotion that is known as Ring Of Honor's sister promotion and includes many ROH stars. Sapolsky also uses an announcer alter ego in this company, Chris Pike.
