G5 group was also used to refer to the original G8
The G5 Group (or G5) includes the largest European countries: France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Spain. The group cooperates mainly on security matters.
The G5 Group has been expanded to Poland, effectively making it the G6 Group.
