G@mers is a computer and video games television show, produced by and shown on Rapture TV. The show is currently presented by Matt Cuttle, a former presenter on Sky One's "Gamezville", and Kate Heavenor, a former children's TV presenter.

Initially, the show (then titled just "Gamers" without the @) was presented by Cuttle and Jake Humphrey. The show was later sold to ITV, coinciding with Rapture's financial problems at the time, and ended when the channel went off-the-air (temporarily) in 2001. On their third relaunch in 2005, the show was resumed, back on Rapture, with Heavenor as co-presenter.

The show covers console and handheld gaming, PC gaming and retro console systems, with the majority of time devoted to game reviews, which are rated by both presenters.

After 54 concurrent episodes, the programme- alongside other Rapture production That Film Show- has temporarily ceased production, owing to the station moving location, and hopes to start again early in 2007.

[edit] Trivia

  • Matt Cuttle previously presented on the now discontinued Gamezville, also a videogame show. While speaking on G@mers, he has in fact referred to his time there telling of a contest he had with 'The Cheeky Girls'.
