G. Manoli Loupassi

G. Manoli Loupassi, a Republican, was previously the President of the City Council of Richmond, Virginia in the City's newly chartered government structure. His former experience as a prosecutor, his connections to Virginia's "old boy" network, and his fundraising ability factor in his announced pursuit of statewide office. He attended St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Virginia, and Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the T.C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond. Loupassi is a first generation native Virginian; his father immigrated to the United States from Crete and became a restaurateur and real estate investor.
