Günther Weidlinger

Günther Weidlinger (born April 5, 1978 in Braunau am Inn) is an Austrian long-distance runner.

He finished eighth in the 3000 m steeplechase final at the 2000 Olympics. He has also reached the final in the same event at the European Athletics Championships twice, finishing last in 2002 and 7th in 2006 in Gothenburg. At the 2007 European Athletics Indoor Championships he competed in 3000 m and finished seventh.

He is the Austrian record holder over 1500m, 3000m steeplechase and 5000m.[1]
