Günther Treptow (1907, Berlin - 1981, Berlin) was a German tenor. Originally a baritone, he changed to tenor before his debut. He was best known for such Wagner roles as Siegmund (Die Walküre), Siegfried (Siegfried / Götterdämmerung) and Tristan (Tristan und Isolde). He wanted to sing only Wagner's music but often also sang such roles as Otello, Max (Der Freischütz), Canio (Pagliacci) and Florestan (Fidelio).
