I don't know why this is listed as a possible copyright violation since there is no discussion. But let me give some background.

I just spent about an hour writing this article using 1) my memory and 2) the GERMAN WIK article on the Goettingen SUB. At no time during the writing did I consult the possibly violated page. It's true there is bound to be some overlap, and for the following reasons 1) the important facts are givens, 2) I contributed to the writing of the German article, the translation of which is cited as the possibly violated article, and I was the sole translator of that German article (i.e., I am the author of the possibly violated article) as well as the possibly violating article. I translated the other article maybe 2 or 3 years ago, and I guess i simply tend to use certain words and grammar (as most people do). My name is Kim Dammers. I was employed by the Goe SUB at the time. The author of the original article (in German) was primarily Dr. Fast, still at the SUB, if some-one deems it necessary to ask him for permission. (Both the German and the English versions are copyrighted by the SUB, and not by me.)
If this article is a violation, then the German Wik is almost certainly MORE so.Kdammers 03:49, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
Follow the link provided on the copyvio template [1]. Note that it is only a possible copyvio. If you strongly beleieve that it is not, you can remove it. Thanks. ≈ jossi ≈ 15:41, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
I looked at the date of the link (which I wrote but which is SUB copywirtten). It is later than the date of the booklet on the SUB (which I wrote), which is NOT copywritten. So I am covered that way as well. Kdammers 03:10, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
