Göran Gillinger

Göran Gillinger, born 13 February 1973 in Vaxholm, Stockholms län; a Swedish actor.

Gillinger became well known as Raspen on the tv series Rederiet (AKA "High Seas") when he was 19 years old. After Rederiet, he played one of the main roles in "30 November" and the main part in the TV comedy series "En 4 för 3". He then took the opportunity to study at the Theater University in Stockholm from 1999-2003.

In 2001 Göran Gillinger attended Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theater in Los Angeles.

In 2003 he had a son named Eliott, and in 2005 another son named Henry with his wife Christina.

In 2005 he played the main part in the play "En Svensk Tiger".

He was a guest on Så ska det låta, and and played a leading role in SVT's (Swedish television) drama, Kommissionen in 2005.

He played Horace in Molière's Hustruskolan at Stockholms Stadsteater in 2006.

Since 1997 he has played King Birger in "The Banquet" at the castle of Nyköping each summer.
