Gakti or gákti, as it is written in Northern Sámi, is a piece of clothing worn by the Sámi in northernScandinavia, Finland and Russia, both in ceremonial contexts and while working, particularly when herding reindeer. The clothes are characterized by a dominate color adorned with bands, plaits, tin art, and a high collar.

The associated cap has traditionally been the garment that differentiates which siida its bearer is from. Other, more specialized, accoutrements include shoes and belts.
