[edit] Dolly (trailer)

Hello Griffen, Here is your answer.

I.T.E.C. H-Dolly or tandem dolly

Some "turkey" removed this info from the article & I had to go into the revision history to fin it back.

[edit] Trucks

Pardon for intruding, but would you be interested in supporting the creation of a project about trucks? Please feel free to sign up or just comment at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Proposals#Trucks.   Rotten Stone 16:18, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

See truck project proposal - yes, but I'll not be the top submitter. G®iffen 17:18, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
No problem, it's not like signing up for the Foreign Legion. I just thought it would be a good thing if a couple of us could put our heads together and come up with some basic guidelines for how an article about a truck or a truck manufacturer should look like. And then we take it from there. Rotten Stone 18:48, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm impressed by articles like Morris Motor Company and Morris Minor, and if I understood the project correct, articles of that quality are wanted, correct?
I'm not that much into the history of neither the manufacturers nor the models, but I'd say I'm capable of at least finding matching pics for many European models (mostly after - say 1975), I can check spelling, and for what it's worth I can read scandinavian languages and german good enough to get the points. If I can just find base articles. Many others can do that, but apparently they didn't find the project proposal yet... G®iffen 19:37, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Both articles looks good. However, I'm not sure about what a good article looks like, I just thought we should try to get some of the less good ones up to some kind of minimal standard. Rotten Stone 16:25, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Hej G®iffen.

Hej Rotten Stone - redigeringskonflikt :-)

Without exactly reading the Morris article, I suggest we use it as "basic minimum", to make truck brand articles look like it, meaning a few pics of different models to the right, oldest models in top, newer below. Then a history (from start thru takeovers and joint-ventures till today) , geography (about main markets in different eras, who builds spcifically for Siberian winter transport today, who sold a lot for Sahara desert in the 70's), eventual official visions (if the company officially wants to set a standard, take over a market or others) and then a list of models (linking to specific model groups like the Morris article does).
In the specific model articles I also suggest a look-alike, with infoboxes on the sub-models (as in the Volvo FH that I just created, it would be nice to have two boxes FH12 and FH16 to compare differences and to get a pic of each. Then the article text should contain time of production beginning (and eventually end of it), intended market, eventual unintended but often seen markets (like if intended for distribution, but often seen as fire engine or...). Then the articles should mention licenced versions produced elsewhere, engine sizes, load range, other tech. data.
hmm... I just had a few points more, but it escaped my head :-(
Basicly I have the opinion that any word or pic is better than a red link, but I'm not satisfied with "my" Volvo FH stub. I think that maybe we should set up some standard headlines for standard articles, saying "We want this mentioned in every article".
Maybe some of this should be copied to the wikiProject page?

Rotten Stone 19:09, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Jeg kigger på det i morgen, lørdag. G®iffen 19:57, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Age category

Hello! If you are receiving this message, that means that your user page is in a specific year category. Per a recent user-category per deletion, all specific year categories are to be deleted. If you wish to continue using year categories, you have two options:

If you wish, you may do both. Hopefully, this change in categorization will be quick and painless. Happy editing! --An automated message from MessedRobot 12:46, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gorky Park

I went back and removed Research Triangle Park, also. Please read the section I added to the talk page for Park (disambiguation). If you still have any questions please ask on my talk page. Happy editing! Chris the speller 19:51, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry

Sorry, i meant no offense by my comments on bondage. I can see that i shouldn't have said what i did. Regards, Zesty Prospect 11:25, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Friendly reminder

G®iffen, I was looking at your edit summary for this edit, and I just wanted to drop a friendly reminder to assume good faith and not bite the newcomers.. Cheers! —Cliffb 19:54, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

This solution was selected instead of dropping a second warning about vandalism at TGPrestons talk page. If You look at that page and the semi-trailer history, I'd like to know if I was still too rude? G®iffen 17:00, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
