Futurity Stakes (Ireland)

The Futurity Stakes is a Group 2 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for two-year-old thoroughbreds run over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres) at the Curragh in late August.
It was promoted to Group 2 status in 2001, having previously been classed as a Group 3. Prior to 1997 the race distance was 1 mile (1,609 metres), excepting 1992, when the race was run at 7 furlongs.
