Furlana

The furlana (also spelled furlane, friulana, forlana) is an Italian folk dance from Campieli, and often credited to the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. It dates at least to 1609, and became popular in the mid-1780s.

The furlana is a courtship dance, performed by a couple. It is dance in double-time, in 6/8 music.
