Hi there. I saw your note at the new users log. Thanks for starting the article at Pierce's Law. Mathematics is one of our strongest subjects here on Wikipedia, and we can always use more help. We're one of the best math resources on the web, IMHO, and pretty soon even Mathworld won't be able to rival us. I hope you'll stick around and help when you can. There's a page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics that helps coordinate the effort. Of course, we'll appreciate any contributions you make that aren't mathematics, too. I just happen to have some personal favoritism in that direction. Happy editing, Isomorphic 21:12, 22 Feb 2004 (UTC)

[edit] New Mathematics Wikiportal
I noticed you've done some work on Mathematics articles. I wanted to point out to you the new Mathematics Wikiportal- more specifically, to the Mathematics Collaboration of the Week page. I'm looking for any math-related stubs or non-existant articles that you would like to see on Wikipedia. Additionally, I wondered if you'd be willing to help out on some of the Collaboration of the Week pages.
I encourage you to vote on the current Collaboration of the Week, because I'm very interested in which articles you think need to be written or added to, and because I understand that I cannot do the enormous amount of work required on some of the Math stubs alone. I'm asking for your help, and also your critiques on the way the portal is set up.
Please direct all comments to my user-talk page, the Math Wikiportal talk page, or the Math Collaboration of the Week talk page. Thanks a lot for your support! ral315 02:54, Feb 11, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Mathematics Project Participants List
Hello FunnyMan3595. After some discussion here, I've converted the "WikiProject Mathematics Participants List" into a table. It is now alphabetical, includes links to the participant's talk page and contribution list, and has a field for "Areas of Interest". I'm letting you know, so you can update your entry, if you want.

[edit] Nice work on Indie Gaming
Thanks for your excellent edit to the Indie Gaming article. I had started on a rewrite myself, but your version is better.

[edit] Counterpoint midi files
Hey, thanks for making the midi files for the five counterpoint species! I appreciate it.
Could you make a couple of fixes? In species three, the last quarter of the fourth bar is sounding B natural, and the next three notes are sounding A, B, C natural. Could you move them all down a step to A, G, A, B natural? In the florid counterpoint example, the B natural eighth note in the last bar is sounding C natural (or B sharp) -- could you fix that? Otherwise wonderful! It's an improvement to the article. If you don't get to it, I might have time in a couple days. Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 05:23, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bushisms
Just wanted to stop by and say "Nice work" for your recent edits to this subject. It would not have occurred to me (or anyone else, apparently!) to put these explanations in, but not only do they help non-native speakers, they also make the entry more encyclopedic.
In fact, I'm going to Be Bold and make my first Barnstar award:

For an inspired edit], I Septegram, award you this Original Barnstar. Nicely done!
