[edit] Economic Efficiency

I've edited the section on economic efficiency to make a clearer distinction between economics-based reasoning and the real motivations for developers and metrics of product usefulness. I still find the conclusions too wide-ranging given the lack of evidence produced, but I am hesitant to completely strike them out. I hope the original author(s) of this page will enhance and clarify their arguments in the future. --YoavShapira 12:07, 30 December 2005 (EST)

[edit] Wikified

Wikified as part of the Wikification wikiproject! I fixed some of the sections headers, created a lead-in, etc. Some cleanup is still needed. JubalHarshaw 14:49, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion

Speedy keep If I read one more deletion request from someone who just smacks on a deletion request without apparently reading the article I'll scream. There clearly has been a lot of work, at the very least someone requesting a delete should put there reasons on the talk pages .... for that reason alone it should be a speedy keep! However having skimmed the article it clearly is a subject worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia, and without much tidying up, a few references, links to original evidence, etc. it will be a good article! --Mike 23:07, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

The reasons don't need to go in the talk page, they were listed in the prod. Did you not see them, or just not read the prod? What part of useless, unencyclopedic information did you not get? What part of original research was not understood? Those are valid reasons for deletion and they were listed in the prod. I don't care about if the subject is worth an article, this article is garbage, if the subject deserves an article, then this needs to be deleted and a new one made by people who know what it is they are doing. Random questions through out do not a good article make. 74.13.33.246 03:04, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
The PROD was contested by removal of the template. If you still wish to propose it for deletion you need to take it to WP:AFD. You should not reapply the prod template. Your comments also include uncivil personal attacks, please try and remain civil. QuiteUnusual 10:05, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
