A diagram of the site as a whole that shows page elements, relationships between pages, as well as processes and rules associated with the functions of the site. The functional flowchart shows the cognitive architecture of the site in great detail and is the basis for functional templates. Together, the functional flows and templates provide the glue that gives specifications to Visual Design, Content Design, Production Design, and technical teams to use as a basis for their design deliverables.
