Full Sutton Prison is a maximum security prison at Full Sutton near Pocklington, East Yorkshire, England.
Full Sutton houses up to 613 prisoners, and is purpose-built for men in category A and category B. It opened in 1987. The prison's primary function is to hold, in conditions of high security, some of the most difficult and dangerous criminals in the country.
Current inmates include Abu Qatada, serial killer Dennis Nilsen and kidnapper, extortionist and murderer, Michael Sams.
