Full Moon Dirty Hearts (1993) |
Elegantly Wasted (1997) |
Full Moon, Dirty Hearts is an album released by Australian band INXS in 1993, through Warner Music Australia. Total running time is 40 minutes. This album was followed by the Dirty Honeymoon world tour of 1993-1994.
The band wanted to go back to their roots for the tour, so they played in pubs and clubs as a way of showing everyone where they came from. The media however took it as the band not being popular anymore, so they criticized the band. The album was, once again, a victim of lack of promotion by the record label as Full Moon Dirty Hearts was the last album in the contract. So overall considered generally a critical and commercial failure in the United States, as it represented another turn in musical direction from the previous album, Welcome to Wherever You Are.
"Please" features vocals by Ray Charles; the title track features vocals by Chrissie Hynde.
