Season two episodes of Full House (a television sitcom that ran on the ABC)

The second season of the show was aired in 1988 - 1989.

[edit] Cutting it Close

(October 14, 1988)

While playing "beauty salon" ( with real scissors ) Stephanie mistakenly cuts Jesse's hair. Jesse gets upset and so Stephanie feels guilty. Most of the family thinks that it is funny but Jesse thinks other wise. In order for Jesse to make his hair look good, he had to get it cut. While on his motorcycle, he gets into an accident and breaks both of his arms. He comes home and he tries to do stuff on his own, but it gets very complicated. He finally admits that he needs help, and so everyone chips in, except for Stephanie. Stephine is afraid that if she helped she would hurt her uncle again. She tries to stay way but eventually they have to come face to face. At the end of the episode, Jesse has a conversation with Stephanie and apologizes.

[edit] Tanner vs. Gibbler

(October 21, 1988)

It's Kimmy's birthday, and DJ has prepared a whole party for her. Thinking that it would be a blast she invites all of Kimmy's friends. But instead Kimmy brings junior high girls who don't really care for her at all (just to be popular). Over the next couple days of school, DJ is called a geekburger. Since Stephanie is DJ's sister she is called geekburger jr.

Danny also gets a promotion in his job, and is now the new co-host of Wake Up, San Francisco, along with Rebecca Donaldson, who Jesse falls for, but Becky isn't as keen to start a relationship.

Realizing that she was wrong Kimmy eventually apologizes to DJ, and they become best friends again.

(October 28, 1988)

Jesse's parents come over to visit. Only his dad is an anti-pest fanatic. Then Jesse decides to leave the family extermination business to focus on his music, much to the disappointment of his father. In the end Jesse and his father make-up dessiding that they can chose different occupations even though they are family. Meanwhile, Stephanie gets her very first cavity and is afraid of going to the dentist to get it filled, Joey goes with her and while she sits in the dentist chair, refusing to open her mouth, Joey teaches her about courage, and she agrees to go through with the filling.

Mr. Katsopolis: How many records have you sold?

Jesse: None.

Mr. Katsopolis: How many bugs have you killed?

Jesse: Millions.

Mr. Katsopolis: So stick with the winner!

[edit] D.J.'s Very First Horse

(November 4, 1988)

While at the stable D.J. witnesses a horse that is up for sale. Along with Kimmy they decide to each pay half of the cost of the horse. Sadly the cost is 100 dollars a months. Danny does not know what had been happening and DJ is keeping it a secret because she knows the he would never let her actually keep the horse. Being a shopaholic Kimmy spends her money on clothes instead of the horse. Now DJ is left to pay for the horse by herself. Sadly, Danny finds out and just like that DJ is grounded. But towards the end of the show Rebecca (being from Nebraska and all) decides to buy the horse. Luckily DJ is allowed to help take care of the horse.

Jesse and Joey begin the advertising life together.

D.J. wins tickets to a Beach Boys concert, but can't decide who to take with her.

(November 25, 1988)

Joey grounds D.J. after she forgets to call and say she's going to be late. Jesse's band plays on Wake Up San Fransisco.

(December 9, 1988)

Danny arranges a date night for himself, Jesse, and Joey, and is surprised to discover that his date once had a relationship with Jesse. D.J. baby-sits her sisters, but after the younger sisters play with Danny's clothes, Danny's wedding ring is in the pipes.

[edit] Our Very First Christmas Show

(December 16, 1988)

The gang gets snowed in at the airport on a Tanner Family Reunion trip to Colorado. The airline loses the bag with the presents and Stephanie is worried Santa won't find her. Jesse's dad want Jesse to get married with Rebecca. In the end it looked like the grumpy man in the plane was Santa Claus.

Grumpy Man: Your in my seat. I have 1B child.

D.J.: No I have 1B adult.

Danny: That makes 3 of us.

Waitress: It seems that we assigned 3 people to the same seat. Silly us.(laughs)

Grumpy Man: I reserved this seat 3 months ago and that's where I'm going to sit!

Waitress: Well we do have 2 openings in first class.

Grumpy Man: Oooh I'll take one.

Waitress: No sir, you reserved that seat 3 months ago and that's where your going to sit. Do you 2 girls want to sit in first class?

Stephanie: What is first class?

D.J.: It's a magical land behind that curtain where people sit in seats as big as sofas and eat shrimp cocktail.

Stephanie: Ok, let's get out of this dump!

Michelle: Hi man

Grumpy Man: Kid, can't you see I'm busy?

Michelle: Kitty

[pulls of his "hair"}

Danny: I'm terribly sorry, she loves animals

Grumpy Man: Give me back my hair

Upset by a lack of attention, Stephanie decides to marry her friend Harry.

D.J. gets rejected by her crush. The guys work at a bachelor auction as bachelors. When a mean lady wants Jesse, Becky buys him and Jesse and Becky started their relationship.

When D.J. and Kimmy tape over Jesse and Joey's radio jingle, Jesse loses his temper. He then puts them in time out and says they can not touch his things. He makes it up to D.J. with a flashy drum set. But when Nick and Irene are stuck in the house arguing, Jesse must realize the error of his ways.

Jesse and Joey decide to work full-time, leaving the girls alone you should not work full time and work a half day.

After D.J. wrecks her new sweater, Stephanie "buys" her a new one without knowing she stole it.

(February 17, 1989)

When Danny feels that Joey has no time for him, the two recall when they first met. D.J. helps Stephanie's boyfriend, Harry, with math and he falls in love with her. This makes Stephanie angry, but but Jesse takes them into his room and works it all out before them. After realizing how close they are, Danny and Joey bring Jesse in as a soul brother, cementing their pact.

(February 24, 1989)

Michelle is very upset when her friend and Rebecca's nephew Howie, goes back home to Nebraska. Stephanie is scared after watching a Werewolf movie.

Note: This is the very first episode with Michelle as the most important character. Also a new "Wake Up San Fransico" logo is used.

    Jesse: Well, I'd make sure little Dustin knew the difference between real and make-believe.
    Rebecca: Yes but-Dustin? You would name your son Dustin?

    Jesse: No son of ours is gonna be named Emily.
    Rebecca: Our daughter's name is Emily, our son's name is Prescott.
    Jesse: Prescott? Might as well name him Emily.

    Rebecca: I don't know.

(March 10, 1989)

When D.J. gets a D in Spanish, Danny goes and talks to D.J.'s teacher, only to find he likes her, and when everyone in D.J.'s class sees the two kissing, D.J. becomes the laughing stock of the entire school. Joey tells D.J. that if people are making fun of you you've got to beat them to the joke, so that they'll laugh with you before the get a chance to laugh at you. However, when D.J. pokes fun at her teacher and her dad for kissing at school she is punished. Meanwhile Michelle tries for a marshmallow commercial but fails when she rehearses too much.

(March 24, 1989)

In this episode we first see the Annual Spring Cleaning (If Full House ran today, Danny could be considered Monk's long-lost twin). But disaster looms when Mr. Bear turns up missing, and Stephanie goes into hysterics when Joey worries her treasured companion might have been accidentally given away with the rest of there old toys they gave away in the charrity drive!

Later we learn why Mr. Bear is so precious: He was the last gift Stephanie received from her mother, on the day she came home with baby Michelle. This happy memory is shared with us through Danny's home movies.

It turns out that Michelle had hidden Mr. Bear inside the piano bench the whole time, making sure the Goodwill guys didn't take him.

(April 7, 1989)

Joey gets an out-of-the-blue call from his college girlfriend Patty, who he meets with despite Danny's Mexican-hat-dance-accompanied warnings about getting his heart broken again. The old issues are resolved, but could this past relationship have a future?

Meanwhile, D.J. and Stephanie have a rough night when Kimmy's attempt at magic goes awry! How can they escape being handcuffed together without making Gibbler disappear?

(April 14, 1989)

Jesse is going crazy with everything that is going on at home. He is so confused that he double books his band, so the gang offers to act as the band. When the music critic gives them a bad review, Jesse is devastated.

[edit] Luck Be a Lady, Part One

(April 28, 1989)

The gang all go to Lake Tahoe, for a Wake Up, San Francisco! special at the Fabulous Ali Baba Hotel and Casino. While they are there, Rebecca tells Jesse that she loves him. Jesse feels that way too. They decide to get married. Meanwhile, D.J.and Stephanie play a slot machine when Joey isn't looking. When they pull, they win $100,000 dollars! But, then Danny nearly explodes when the girls gamble after Danny told them not to. Only the security cameras caught the girls gambling and Joey dosen't get any of the money. Ironically if the girls had left the machine alone the family could have got the $100,000.

(May 5, 1989)

Rebecca gets cold feet and leaves Jesse standing at the altar after Stephanie and D.J. find out Rebecca and Jesse's marriage.
