[edit] Extreme Championship Wrestling
The original Full Blooded Italians began in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1996 as a comedy stable that put black wrestler J.T. Smith with obese Italian wrestler "Big" Val Puccio, eventually adding two wrestlers from the Southern United States (Tracy Smothers and Tommy Rich) and one more Italian (Little Guido). The running gag of the stable was that most of the wrestlers were obviously not of Italian decent, but often claimed to be and acted in stereotypical Italian-American ways, including none-too-subtle Mafia references and constant hand gestures from all involved.
The stable gained a cult following in ECW, often receiving generous crowd reactions when they performed. During the dying days of promotion the stable started using more and more wrestlers that actually were Italian.

[edit] World Wrestling Entertainment
After a beating at the hands of Rikishi, Little Guido, known as Nunzio at the time, threatened to bring in his "family" to gain revenge. The next week, Chuck Palumbo and Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli joined with Nunzio to reform the Full Blooded Italians and attack Rikishi. They initially gained little success, but went on to have brief feuds with a number of wrestlers and teams, including Los Guerreros (Eddie and Chavo), Chris Benoit, Rhyno, and the Acolytes Protection Agency (Faarooq and Bradshaw). When the group turned face they grew in popularity, however just as they were getting over they were disbanded, with Palumbo being sent to the RAW brand and soon after both he and Stamboli were released.
Although never an official member, The Brooklyn Brawler aided FBI in an attack on the APA in July 2003, prior to the Vengeance pay per view.
Although it seemed FBI's time in WWE was no more, when Vito LoGrasso made his WWE debut on an episode of Velocity he did so by handing Nunzio a blackjack to help him win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Soon after, a profile of Vito in SmackDown! Magazine "officially" referred to the new pairing as "The F.B.I." and they continued to appear in the tag team division of Friday Night SmackDown! until they split in mid-2006. The duo had previously teamed together in Ohio Valley Wrestling as The Andretti Express.

[edit] ECW brand
The F.B.I. reunited briefly at the 2005 One Night Stand reunion show when Little Guido, Tracy Smothers, Tony Mamaluke, Big Guido and J.T. Smith appeared together. The next year, when World Wrestling Entertainment launched the ECW brand, Nunzio (once again using the name Little Guido) left the SmackDown! brand and reformed the F.B.I. with Tony Mamaluke, Big Guido, and new member Trinity. After the 2006 One Night Stand and the first ECW event, Big Guido left the company and Tony Mamaluke was released on January 18, 2007. The F.B.I. will be shown again after WrestleMania however it will be Vito and Little Guido with their manager Trinity.
