Fukutsu, Fukuoka

Fukutsu (福津市; -shi) is a city located in Fukuoka, Japan.
As of February 1, 2005, the city has an estimated population of 56,500 and the density of 1072 persons per km². The total area is 52.71 km².
The city was founded on January 24, 2005 from the merger of the former towns of Fukuma and Tsuyazaki from Munakata District.
