Fuchi (Qiandaohu) class

Two new multi-product replenishment ships, the Qiandaohu class (NATO codename: Fuchi class), have been built for the PLA Navy (PLAN) in 2003/04. The first, Qiandaohu (pennant number 886), was built at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipyard in Shanghai and launched in July 2003. The ship entered service with the PLAN East Sea Fleet on 30 April 2005. The second, Weishanhu (pennant number 887), was built by Huangpu Shipyard in Guangzhou.
