FUCKUP

First Universal Cybernetic-Kinetic-Ultramicro-Programmer is a fictional computer in the Illuminatus! novels by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea.

Designed and built by Hagbard Celine, it is used to pilot a submarine, communicate with dolphins and predict the likelihood of World War III by generating hexagrams from virtual throws of I Ching sticks. It both prints out results and talks. It also, somehow, deduces that it is a fictional creation inside a novel (see Fourth wall).

The hacker Karl Koch nicknamed his own computer FUCKUP, after the one from the novel with which he was obsessed.
