Fuad Mohamed Qalaf

Sheikh Fuad Mohamed Qalaf (born March 28, 1965) is a Somali militant Islamist and leading member of the Islamic Courts Union (ICU).
Born in Somalia, Qalaf lived in Sweden for ten years and was an imam at a mosque in Stockholm.[1] In 2006 he returned to Somalia to serve as secretary of youth and education in the ICU.
Following the Ethiopian invasion of Somalia in December 2006, Qalaf and others if the ICU leadership fled to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.[2]
