Frostie Root Beer is a brand currently marketed by Leading Edge Brands, of Temple, Texas. Frostie was originally bottled by The Frostie Beverage Company of Catonsville, Maryland, owned by George Rackensperger. Bottles claim it has been in production since 1939. Today the root beer is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners.
