Frontier Oil NYSE: FTO, begun in 1949 as Wainoco Oil, is an energy company with its headquarters located in Houston, TX and its subsidiary company, Frontier Refining & Marketing, Inc., located in Denver, CO. Frontier's primary products are gasoline, diesel, and asphalt and are marketed in the Rocky Mountain and Plains States.

Frontier Oil owns refineries in Cheyenne, WY and El Dorado, KS. Cheyenne Refinery is a 46,000 bpd capacity refinery and El Dorado Refinery is a 110,000 bpd capacity refinery.
