Fromdistance Mobile Device Manager

Fromdistance Mobile Device Manager is platform for centralized management of smartphones and communicators, for companies with large number of corporate phones. It consists of:

  • MDM Server – company internal, or provided by Fromdistance. Runs on secure Web server with PHP + any SQL database. It is used by helpdesk staff to get phones usage statistics, define usage policies, make phone backups and otherwise control corporate phones.
  • MDM Client – installed on each corporate phone (by 28.03.2007: Nokia Series 60 and Series 80 devices are supported). Runs silently in background and is not visible to user. It executes commands defined on MDM Server.
