From the Files of Madison Finn

Madison Finn is the main character in the book series, From the Files of Madison Finn, written by Laura Dower. Madison is a seventh grade computer whiz who faces everyday life trauma from crushes, personal appearance, to friendship problems, and her parents recent divorce, Madison calls "the Big-D." In the Super Edition book, To Have and To Hold, Madison's dad, Jeff Finn gets remarried to his girlfriend Stephanie. Madison's best friends are Aimee Gillespie and Fiona Waters(where she meets in the first book Only the Lonely Aimee, Egg(Walter Diaz) and Drew(Andrew)were her main friends at the beginning of the story. Madison is developing a crush on Hart Jones whom she use to think was a "pest", but is now a "hottie". She competes with her arch enemy Ivy Daly to see who can win the man.

Only the Lonely	Madison is not sure if she can survive the summer, let alone the beginning of Junior High. But maybe some changes are good... when a new girl named Fiona moves in down the street, Madison's summer (and seventh grade)turn out to be very different than expected. When she goes to school, she meets an incredible hottie whom turns out to be Hart Jones- a person whom she considered to be a pest in 2nd grade.

• In the book All Shook Up there is a reference to Wikipedia on Poverty.
• Madison's favorite website is Big Fish Bowl. If you go to www.bigfishbowl.com it takes you to the author's web page.

• In the book Double Dare, it says Madison receives and email from Fiona's mom Emily Waters (page 34) but later she receives another email from Fiona's mom Helen Waters (page 93).
• In the beginning of the book Sink or Swim it says Madison is babysitting a two year-old boy with blue eyes. Later it says he has brown eyes.
• In the book Lost and Found, Ivy's middle name is Elizabeth. In the book Keep It Real, Ivy says her middle name is Renee.
• In the book All Shook Up, Madison's English teachers says that there's not enough time for her to do her presentation, while later on in the chapter, her friends are complimenting her on how well she did on the presentation.
• In the book All Shook Up, instead of the word "gossip", there's a typo that says "goddip" instead.
• In the book, Only the Lonely, it says Big wheels sent Madison an email with the subject "Sorry" but when she actually reads it, it says the subject is "School."
• In Heart to Heart Madison's favorite number is 13. In Just visiting her favorite number is 11.
• In many of the books, it says that Madison's favorite and lucky number is 13, but in Lights Out! Madison thought the number 13 was very unlucky.
• In To Have and to Hold in chapter 15 page 207 Madison is checking her mail and on the list it said that she got a male from Sk8rboy(Hart). But in page 209 when she opens the mail it said it is from Sk8ingBoy(Hart).
