[edit] Miscellanea
- The Chinese characters in the liner notes of the album represent Energy, Clarity, Harmony, Courage, Wisdom and Enlightenment.
- Nick Hexum wrote the lyrics for "I'll Be Here Awhile" at age 20, forecasting the future of the band. The song finally made a 311 album ten years later when, as predicted, the band was still around.
- The lyric "And if a person, place or thing can deliver/I will quiver with delight" in "I'll Be Here Awhile" was earlier used in the The 77s 1987 song "The Lust, The Flesh, The Eyes and the Pride of Life."
- Hexum wrote "Amber" about his then-fiancee Nicole Scherzinger lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls.
