Frolovo

Frolovo (Russian: Фролово) is a town in Volgograd Oblast, Russia, located on the Archeda River (Don's basin), 148 km north of Volgograd. Population: 39,800 (2006 est.); 41,132 (2002 Census); 41,680 (1989 Census).
Frolovo was founded in 1868 as a settlement servicing the construction of the Gryazi–Povorino–Tsaritsyn railroad. It was granted town status in 1936.
