Frogger 3D (also simply known as Frogger) is a video game remake of the classic 1981 arcade game Frogger. It was released on November 3, 1997. The player's objective is to search the map for five small colored frogs (his children): a red one, a blue one, a green one, an orange one, and a violet one, and collect them in a certain amount of time avoiding obstacles while doing so. Also there are hidden gold babies you can collect to obtain an alternate ending. There are a total of 33 levels spread out through 9 different worlds, or themes.
The player begins with five lives. Touching even the smallest obstacle kills the frog instantly; the frog has no health meter. If a player dies, they return to the starting point of the level. You also notice when you revisit Tropical Trouble after beating it, there are no more creatures to kill you except for the small rhinos after the first bridge and birds flying in front of the temple.
