Frog Island

Is an inner city area of Leicester, England. This area's strange name might have derived from the river that runs through some of the region.
Frog Island is a key area in the Leicester Regeneration Programme and there are a number of new residential and commercial developments in the planning stages, including the extension of the Shires Shopping Centre.
