Fritz Rieger

Fritz Rieger (born 28 June 1910 in Oberaltstadt, died 30 September 1978 in Bonn) was a German conductor. His actual name was Friedrich Edmund Rieger. From 1949 to 1966, Rieger was principal conductor and musical director of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.
