Friendly (Farthing Wood)

Friendly is a character from the Farthing Wood series of children's books.

Friendly is Fox and Vixen's son. He is probably the only one of the four cubs that does not suit his name. Friendly is a little bit of a show-off and is constantly trying to show his father what he is capable of. Friendly never goes against his father's rules.
When Bold is captured by the blue foxes, Friendly goes with his father to try and get him out and is annoyed when Bold was not there. He was also the one that first found Ranger and Charmer together and told Fox.
Out of the four cubs, Friendly is the most against the blue foxes, not allowing any, especially Ranger set foot on Farthing territory. For some reason, he does not like Ranger very much, he does not trust him.
Through-out the series, Friendly remains extremely loyal to his father.
In the books by Colin Dann, Friendly does warm up to the blue foxes and has a mate called Russet, who is Ranger's cousin. They have a son called Pace.
