The friarbirds (also called Leatherhead) are four species of honeyeaters in the genus Philemon:
- Helmeted Friarbird, Philemon buceroides
- Silver-crowned Friarbird, Philemon argenticeps
- Noisy Friarbird, Philemon corniculatus
- Little Friarbird, Philemon citreogularis
They are found in eastern Australia and southern New Guinea. They eat nectar, insects and other invertebrates, flowers, fruit and seeds.
