Wikipedia:Free Links
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Wikipedia and some other Wikis, free links are used to make links that look like normal words, without the capitalizations or spacing of CamelCase. Thus we can have Alabama instead of AlabamA, and South Dakota instead of SouthDakota.
On Wikipedia, you make free links using [[double square brackets]]. You can also use pipes (|) to customize your links. (Shift and press above the enter key)Typing [[Texas|Lone Star state]] will produce Lone Star state, a link that says "Lone Star state" but links to Texas. See How to edit a page for other information on wikipedia markup.
