[edit] Triune Kingdom
You asked me several days ago about Triune Kingdom and I did not had time to answer you before. Anyway, the Triune Kingdom was just a fuctional kingdom invented by Croatian nationalists that never existed in reality. I agree that usage of this term in the historical articles is very controversial and perhaps the best thing to do would be to writte new article with name "Triune Kingdom" where this concept could be explained, but usage of this term in the "normal" historical articles is indeed not the best thing to do. - Slightly a POV explanation - the Truine Kingdom was not just a "fictional invention" by Croatian nationalists - in the 19th century age of national awakening the Croat people desired reunification; such an effort was successful as Slavonia was more & more attached to Croatia. In 1883 another part, the Military Frontier, was demilitarized an joined to Croatia-Slavonia. The effort last lied on joining Dalmatia and the City of Rijeka with the surroundings - but this never came to be. So in reality, this Truine Kingdom never existed. However, this was not just purely desired by the Croats (the most numerous people; including the Šokci after their received full Croatian national awareness), but also by the Serbs (who back then comprised a huge portion of the fictional Truine Kingdom's territories). We could also claim in the same manner that Old Serbia is an "term coined by Serbian nationalists". Every nation had expressed desires of reunification (most notably seen among the Italians and Germans) back then, and this was no exception with the Croats (for more details, see Greater Croatia - although that article deals more with the irredentist nationalist ideology, rather than this which I'm talking about). --PaxEquilibrium 16:14, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
