About me: I am a student in Pennsylvania with a concentration in computer sciences/ information services, and law-related studies. I also enjoy British literature and mathematics. While I do work in a TV studio, I do not wish to pursue film, broadcasting, photography, sound, or related as a career. My function in the studio is 'System Manager', and my job functions include wiring and configuration of all devices in the in-house broadcasting system; wiring and maintenance of three remote broadcasting units, which are self-contained studios; configuration and maintenance of 5 Apple Macintosh computers, which run Final Cut Studio and have Panasonic AG-DV2500 VTRs; configuration of a unit to automatically broadcast tape and computer output on a schedule; and a DVD-->HDD-->9xVHS duplicator. I do not edit any video, nor do I switch video live using NewTek VT[4]
We are currently in the process of upgrading fully to Mac Pro computers with Intel processors
