- "Discovered" implies that the area was uninhabited before, or that the original people were insignificant. There certainly were Native peoples in the area (I'll have to look up which, but I believe Yokuts, Mono, and Miwok for sure).--CodeGeneratR 17:01, 12 July 2005 (UTC)

Sorry for not logging in before adding all these highways, but they ARE verified, I have personally driven on all of them in the past 3 years. (Also helps that I'm a native!) Could there be mentioned that this town was the home town of William Saroyan? There is theatre named after him, so maybe somewhere near that?--Paxik 10:19, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
