Freudiana was the first album credited to Eric Woolfson as a solo artist, marking his final project with former collaborator Alan Parsons, who is credited as producer. (It is listed as 'by Eric Woolfson', although since Parsons wrote one of the songs, and is still producing - and the session musicians are all Project regulars - the album can be considered an Alan Parsons Project work.) After recording the album, Woolfson worked with Brian Brolly to adapt the album into a stage musical. As befits the title, all of the songs on the album are references to theories of Sigmund Freud.
