"Fresh Bones" was the fifteenth episode of the second season of The X-Files science-fiction television series created by Chris Carter.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
A US Marine stationed at a resettlement camp for Haitians drives himself into a tree and is stated dead. Mulder and Scully are called by the grieving and fearful wife to investigate her husband's death, which is believed by others to be suicide. Her fears of a voodoo curse seem only to be reinforced by the beliefs and actions of many of the local residents, including a few of the other soldiers. Mulder and Scully go to the camp to see the body but it has been replaced with corpse of animal.
