[edit] Frenchball

Frenchball is a variation of Volleyball and is also known as French Ball. It was invented around the year 2001.

It is played around a 2m high bar (but can be higher depending on the how professional the players are)., and the court is 6m long with the bar in the centre. The width of the court is 3m. The bar must also be strong enough to support the weight of the players when they swing on it.

[edit] The rules

The game is usually played 1 on 1; but can be played 2 on 2. The rules are very similar to the rules of volleyball but you are allowed to catch the ball take 1 step, and throw, if you're close enough to the bar you can slam it over but your feet are not allowed to cross the mid-line if you swing on the bar. To start each point you serve from the back line, then you are free to move around. You must not travel with the ball. No one can hold the ball longer than 2 seconds from catch to throw. If there iare 2 players on a side, they may pass once within the 2 seconds but then the receiver must strike within 1 second. It is a foul if a player slams the ball after a pass.

A point is given if the ball lands inside the opposition's side. If it lands outside, they get 1 point. The game can be scored 1st to 11, 5, 21 etc.
