- Any of the French-based creole languages
- The people and culture in former French colonies such as Haiti, Louisiana, Martinique or Mauritius
- Descendants of European plantation owners in Trinidad and Tobago, Martinique, Saint Lucia and other Caribbean territories colonized by France.
