From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The French-American School of New York, also known as the École Franco-Américaine de New York or FASNY is a bilingual school located in Westchester County. It serves the substantial local francophone community, offering classes from Nursery to 10th grade, beyond which point students generally commute to the Lycée Français de New York in New York City. It has three campuses located in the towns of Scarsdale, Larchmont, and Mamaroneck housing the Nursery, Primary, and Secondary schools, respectively. It is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools as well as the French Ministry of Education, the latter of which provides much of the curriculum. 50% of the students are French, 25% are French-American, and 25% come from all over the Francophone world and represent over forty nationalities.
