Freedom of Expression®

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Freedom of Expression was registered as a trademark in the United States by Kembrew McLeod in 1998. The phrase is used by McLeod as the title of his anti-corporate newsletter, and is also the name of his 2005 book. McLeod registered the phrase as a form of social commentary on the use of intellectual property law to restrict cultural expression in American society. The registration was cancelled in 1998 for non-use.
