Free Home is an unincorporated community in the eastern part of Cherokee County, Georgia. Centered at the intersection of State Route 20 and State Route 372, the once rural community has seen rapid suburbanization of the area over recent years. It is home to Free Home Elementary School, home of the Rockets.

Down along one of Free Home's unpaved roads, you will find a girl selling corn. However, this innocent farm hand has been dead for 72 years yet has become a local legend to this sleepy town. Starting in 1942, many claimed to have seen this spector and have also claimed to have tasted 'the sweetest corn in the world'. But when it comes time to pay, the young girl turns and walks away saying "its on the house. Its a free world after all".

Josh Holloway, an actor in the TV series Lost, grew up in Free Home.
