Free File Alliance
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Free File Alliance is a group of companies who work with the United States IRS to provide free electronic tax filing services. Participants in the Free File program must have an adjusted gross income of $52,000 or less. (Some participating companies impose additional restrictions.) For 2007, Alliance members have agreed to remove controversial ancillary offerings such as refund anticipation loans from the program.
