Fredrik Åkesson

Fredrik Åkesson is a Swedish guitarist, currently of Talisman, and played with melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. He was recruited after original guitarist Christopher Amott, who decided to leave the band in 2005 to take a break from music. After an 18 month hiatus, Christopher Amott returned, retaking his former position. He also plays guitar/solos on the Krux album "II", released in 2006.
Currently Åkesson is endorsed by ESP Guitars.
